C.O.M.B.I - Stone Waters
yowza. Rowdy NY disco lords Rub-n-Tug can always be trusted to bring the fire, and their rock-tinged edits in particular, like "I'm a Man" by Chicago, are especially nuts. Along those lines check out this one by half of RnT, Eric Duncan, aka Dr. Dunks - included on his insane hi-octane How We Do In NYC mix he just put out for aNYthing. "Stone Waters" sounds like that Santana-y part of the Rolling Stones "Can You Hear Me Knockin'", only more grooved up and drugged out - blistering brown-acid rock disco. One of the best things I've heard all year. I guess this is an edit? of what?
